In actual production, the empirical judgment method
1. Trial drawing observation method:
After the new drawing die is installed, measure the wire diameter during trial drawing.Replace it immediately if it exceeds the tolerance.
Observe whether the drawing process is smooth. Abnormal vibration or noise may indicate die problems
2. Product defect correlation method:
When continuous scratches (" roughening ") appear on the surface of the finished product, the surface finish of the die needs to be checked .
The phenomenon of "shrinking wire" in wire diameter may indicate insufficient lubrication or die wear .
Ellipticity deviation is often related to drawing die manufacturing errors or improper installation
3.Production parameter monitoring method:
If the drawing force suddenly increases by more than 15%, the condition of the drawing die should be checked.
Preventive inspections should be carried out when the continuous production time of the same die exceeds the recommended cycle.

Per simple appearance inspection and dimension measurement periodic testing.
