Carbide Strip Grade Analysis
Carbide Strip Grade Analysis
Carbide strip, as a kind of high-performance material widely used in various industrial fields, its brand diversity and uniqueness, has been the focus of attention in the industry. This paper will discuss the grade of cemented carbide strip in detail, through the introduction of its composition, characteristics and application scenarios. There are many grades of cemented carbide strips, common ones are YG3X, YG3, YG6, YG8, YG12, YL10.2, YL60, YG15, YG20, YG25 and so on. These grades not only represent the chemical composition and physical properties of the alloy, but also reflect its use and scope of application.
YG series: YG series carbide strip is represented by YG6 and YG8, of which YG6 tungsten content is as high as 94%, cobalt content is 6%; YG8 has a tungsten content of 92% and a cobalt content of 8%. YG series alloys have high hardness and wear resistance, suitable for high-precision machining, tool materials and other fields. When selecting the cemented carbide strip grade, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the specific processing materials, cutting conditions, workpiece accuracy requirements and other factors. For example, in the processing of cast iron, non-ferrous metals and other materials, YG series alloys such as YG6 and YG8 are a better choice; When processing difficult materials such as stainless steel and high manganese steel, it is necessary to choose alloy grades with higher hardness and toughness.
