Application:
Generally used for non-ferrous metals (aluminum, titanium, copper) to remove the oxide layer. In order to facilitate the subsequent drawing , improve the quality of the wire.
The formation of oxide skin
The oxide skin on the metal surface is mainly formed by the chemical reaction between wire and environmental factors such as oxygen and water in the air. These chemical reactions cause a thin layer of oxide to appear on the surface of the wire, which gradually thickens over time to form a distinct oxide skin.
In addition, wire may also be subjected to mechanical damage, oil pollution and other pollution in the process of processing, transportation and storage, further aggravating the formation of oxide skin.
The oxide layer will reduce the brightness and beauty of the metal, but also affect the corrosion resistance and service life of the metal.
